North West Durham Angling Association (NWDAA) exists to enable members to enjoy trout fishing amidst the tranquillity of the upper Pennines. All members are expected to abide by the rules of the Association and to comply with good principles of conservation.
The Association leases three waters from Northumbrian Water on an annual basis to enable members to experience memorable wild brown trout angling in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Association has an authorised membership of up to 175 full members, each of whom, having paid an initial joining fee and thereafter paid annual subscriptions, are able to access trout fishing in the beautiful Pennines, to the West of Consett, County Durham. There are currently four junior (under 16 years) members.
